NASA APPL
One of the boldest projects Palatine has undertaken is an online learning resource center and information portal created for APPL -- NASA’s training academy. Palatine built NASA a two-pronged solution: an interactive online journal (ASK), integrated into a customized, highly collaborative project management knowledge portal for the distribution of data, research and best practices. The site included monthly interactive case studies, a live forum and chat room, a research portal, newsroom, team site, and full library of courses. In APPL, Palatine created a meaningful user experience, a rich repository of knowledge and a collaborative community in which busy NASA engineers took a break from demanding projects to reflect and share ideas.
